The Power of Voting: A Christian’s Call to Action for the Future of America

I’ve been wrestling with this post for a while, but as a Christian, I feel compelled to share my thoughts. After closely following both the Republican and Democratic national conventions, I’m left with a heavy heart. This November, my support lies with the Republicans, and here’s why.

When I think of President Trump, I don’t see him through rose-colored glasses. He’s made mistakes and is far from perfect. Yet, I believe he is a true patriot. He loves this country deeply. He is committed to making America great again.

In my lifetime, I’ve never witnessed anyone endure the level of persecution he has. Many wonder why he persists. After all, he could retreat with his family, relax on a beach, and leave politics behind. But he remains in this fight because he genuinely believes he can improve life for all of us—everyday Americans.

I’ve listened to President Trump and JD Vance, speak passionately about this great nation. They believe in the strength of the American people and in the promise of the American dream. Yet, we are frustrated by the ongoing crisis at our borders. Instead of prioritizing our veterans and struggling families, resources are being funneled to those who enter illegally.

Being an Immigrant

I understand that many people come here seeking protection or a better life. To those who follow the legal process, I say: Knock on our front door and become our neighbor. We’ll help you find a job, welcome your children into our schools, and support you in your journey. Our fight is not with you—it’s with how some choose to enter this country. Sneaking in makes it seem as though there’s something to hide, and that unsettles the citizens of this nation.

Becoming a citizen is hard, but it’s worth it. I know this firsthand—it took my family 12 years to achieve citizenship. It wasn’t easy, but we’ve never looked back.

Americans, by large, are good people. We’re the cream of the crop.

Abortion

Abortion is an intensely personal decision, but I believe it should be limited to the first two months. The idea of giving birth to a full-term baby and then choosing to let it die is unconscionable. That’s not a choice—it’s murder, and it should be prosecuted as such.

Cases of rape and incest are different. Those decisions rest between you and God, and no one else. But we need to use common sense. Some things are just wrong, and we must live with the consequences of our choices.

Drugs

Drugs are flooding into our country, and it’s making the dealers filthy rich. But their real goal is to destroy our youth—the future of America. By destroying our young people and corrupting their minds with false beliefs, they’re undermining this nation at its core.

Voting

Does your vote really matter? Absolutely, yes. Voting is the most powerful way to make your voice heard.

This November, we face a crossroads. If you value the right to worship God freely, then vote. If you want to continue buying the food your family enjoys, then vote. If you believe in freedom of speech without violence, then vote. If you want the freedom to choose the best car for your family—whether it’s gas or electric—then vote. If you want to keep your neighborhood safe, then vote. Trust that when you call 911, the police will come to your aid regardless of your age or skin color. Then vote.

The Future of America

How we vote this November will determine the future of America. Vote for God, fairness, and a legal system that judges us all equally. Whether you’re a Republican or Democrat, that should be the standard.

If your neighbor has been blessed with financial success, be happy for them and work to achieve the same. We shouldn’t expect their hard-earned money to be shared with those who choose not to work. The idea of everyone earning the same and the government controlling prices may sound appealing in theory. However, in practice, it’s wrong.

The government is in Washington because we, the people, put them there—not to control us or take away our choices. But to Make the hard decisions that is best for all of us and honor the constitution.

Last four Years

The last four years have been a disaster of epic proportions. We can’t sit idly by, angry and disillusioned, if we don’t vote. We have the power to decide who leads this nation. We decide who represents us in the Senate. We also decide who sits in Congress. Our children’s futures depend on it.

Let’s give them an America that’s free. It’s free to worship, free to work hard, and free to be rewarded for that work. Let’s stop the unchecked influx at our borders and say, “Enough.” We welcome you, but come through our front door. That’s where the welcome committee awaits.

In Conclusion:

Let’s make a stand. Like the wall at our border, we will stand together and vote for the future of our country.

Please remember that your opinion is important and if you don’t agree with me let us know what you think!
